This is the story of Richard Minis ...

15 years ago a 1968 Morris Mini Cooper Mk 11 was driven into my garage.  As you will see it is now in many parts and these parts have spread into my neighbour's garages due to lack of space in my own garage.

The first car was registered in the Channel Islands in 1968 and returned to the UK in 1973.  It spent most of it's life in storage in Edinburgh before taking the journey up to Inverness.  I am the third owner and the car has only done 44,000 miles.

I re-registered the car when I purchased it and it now has a tax-free 1968 registration.

The second car is a 1964 Austin Mini Countryman, which I bought from a friend 10 years ago.  I have now fitted new floors and various other panels.  I hope to finish these when I retire which is less than 20 years - no hope says my wife!!!!
